Opening
Monday, November 24
4 p.m. Festive service in St. Petri Cathedral with showman pastor Friedhelm Blüthner
followed by the switching on of the lights on the large fir tree in front of the Bürgerschaft

Christmas parade
Every Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. (November 27, December 4, 11, and 18), well-known and beloved characters will visit the market and walk among the stalls.

Tower brass band
Every Saturday at 6 p.m. (November 29, December 6, 13, 20), the sounds of trombones ring out from the town hall balcony above the Christmas market.
